About Me
Currently, David works as the Lead Instructor for FuturePrep London, a boutique UK-based provider of elite test preparation services for a number of graduate level admissions tests, including the GMAT/GRE and LSAT/LNAT exams. FuturePrep offers London’s top business and legal professionals a full suite of highly structured online private tutoring programs, designed by one of the most experienced test prep tutors in the industry.
David also works as an Associate Lecturer for Open University (OU) teaching a number of international business course modules to undergraduate business students. Prior to moving to the UK, David founded a highly successful Canadian educational start-up in the graduate test preparation industry. During that time, he amassed 25,000+ hours teaching experience instructing top BBA, MBA, and EMBA students at more than half a dozen top Canadian business schools, including University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, and Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Quebec.
Academically, David holds an Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Lazaridis School of Business & Economics in Waterloo, Canada and an International Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada. He also spent two years studying business abroad at the Universität Mannheim in Mannheim, Germany, the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE) in Barcelona, Spain, and the Ecole Superiéure de Commerce (ESC-Lyon) in Lyon, France. As such, he speaks both German and Spanish.
Professionally, prior to entering the education industry, David gained more than six years experience working in three major business sectors: Management Consulting, International Finance and Investment Banking. That experience included stints both as an International Management Consultant at the Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt, Germany and a Senior Financial Analyst for Merrill Lynch in Toronto, Canada.

David is a full-time Test Prep Instructor/Tutor and experienced educational professional who has been teaching, training, and tutoring students in standardized test preparation for the GMAT/GRE and LSAT/LNAT exams for the past 25 years. Since 2001, David has taught hundreds of test prep courses to thousands of satisfied students at more than a dozen major colleges and universities across Canada and in the UK.
After relocating to London in 2020, David joined Menlo Coaching in 2021, the world's most elite MBA Admissions Consulting firm, where he has worked as one of their top GMAT / GRE private tutors for 5+ years. Outside of Menlo, David also works as an Associate Lecturer at the Open University's Faculty of Business and Law teaching a number of undergraduate business and law course modules.
Prior to moving to the UK, David performed worked as the Lead Instructor / Tutor at Quantum Test Prep, a private test preparation firm located in Toronto, Canada, a company that he founded back in 2004. During this time, David also ran the in-house GMAT Test Prep Toronto program at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and was an in-house GMAT Instructor at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management delivering GMAT-equivalent (EDT) preparatory courses for both the Rotman Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA programs (EMBA/GEMBA).
Prior to joining Quantum, David worked for 3 years as a GMAT Instructor and Private Tutor for Oxford Seminars and 2 years as a GMAT Instructor/Private Tutor for The Princeton Review. He completed his Princeton GMAT Trainer certification at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in January 2002 and has personally trained dozens of new GMAT instructors since then. David has also written the GMAT exam multiple times, having scored in the top 2-3% of all test takers on each exam.
