I'm a fully qualified secondary English and Drama teacher with classroom experience in inner-London schools, where I was praised for quickly building rapport and tailoring support to individual needs.

Over six years of tutoring, I've helped students exceed their target grades and grow in confidence. I have a particular interest in A Level English Literature, where I love helping students develop their own critical voice and write essays that are original, well-structured and tightly argued. As a Cambridge iGCSE examiner, I know exactly what examiners are looking for and can show students how to meet the assessment objectives.

I work with a wide range of learners, including high achievers and students with SEND, SEMH and ESL needs, and I'm especially passionate about supporting anxious students. As an ICF-accredited student wellbeing coach, I take a holistic, student-centred approach that builds confidence, resilience and long-term success beyond the grades themselves.

Tuition Fees:

£65 – Key Stage 3 and below

£70 – GCSE

£75 – A Level and IB

£80 – Undergraduate

£85+ – Postgraduate/Dissertation Support

I charge 20% more for short-term students (fewer than 5 hours) due to the Spires commission structure.

Booking Policy:
Long-term students are booked on a weekly slot basis with regular attendance and adherence to my cancellation policy.

Availability:
Monday–Thursday, daytime hours (until 5pm GMT).

Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations up to 24 hours before the lesson; 100% charge for cancellations within 24 hours. No charge for my cancellations with at least 24 hours' notice. This includes sessions that have been scheduled and agreed by both us but not accepted yet.

I have extensive experience teaching English, Drama and Media Studies from KS3 to undergraduate level. I'm a Cambridge examiner for iGCSE English Language and am working towards A Level marking. I meet regularly with an English subject mentor and undertake ongoing SEND-specific CPD to keep refining my practice. I'm committed to tutoring long-term, and several of my students have stayed with me from GCSE through A Level and into their undergraduate studies.

A Level: A Level English Literature is my main area of teaching and where I'm most keen to take on new students. I support students aiming for top grades with targeted guidance on essay structure, exam technique and coursework (NEA) across all exam boards.

IB: I help IB English students excel in their Extended Essays, HL essays and Individual Orals. I've successfully supported EEs in English, Drama, Media and Art, and I'm keen to expand into History and other humanities subjects.

GCSE: I specialise in supporting SEND, SEMH and ESL learners, helping students move from grades 3–4 to 5–6 and beyond, including resit candidates across all exam boards. My examining experience means I know exactly what earns marks. My approach is tailored, compassionate and results-driven.

Key Stage 3: I teach English, Media and Drama, covering poetry, prose, creative writing and devised performance. At this stage I focus on nurturing creativity and a love of learning while building strong foundations for GCSE.

University entrance: I offer personal statement coaching for UCAS, and all my students have secured places at their first-choice universities.

Undergraduate: I support Literature undergraduates with essays and dissertations, specialising in modern, postcolonial, feminist, American and queer literature.
