I am a Lecturer in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Salford, with certification in Clinical Psychology by the Portuguese Order of Psychologists. At Salford, I teach a broad range of psychology modules including Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychological Therapies, Positive Psychology, and more, aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate learners. My teaching methodology emphasizes interactive, student-centred learning that balances theory with practical application, supported by seminars, coursework, and research supervision at bachelor, master, and doctoral levels.

Before becoming a lecturer, I have delivered regular workshops and lectures focusing on topics spanning mental health, emotional regulation, psychological resilience, and cognitive development. These sessions covered relevant and impactful themes such as Burnout Prevention, Self-Motivation, Psychology of Music and Emotion, Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence, Dark Triad Theory, and many more themes. This extended teaching allowed me to engage a wider audience with accessible, evidence-based psychological insights.

My academic background is underpinned by a PhD in Psychology specialising in emotional responses to music, alongside advanced certifications in academic practice and clinical psychology. I combine my clinical experience, including neuropsychological assessment and therapeutic intervention, with research expertise to provide students with a comprehensive and applied learning experience.
